Top 5 Love Lessons I Learned From Radio Shows In New York

Listening to radio shows is one of the things that I enjoy doing during the weekends. I have always been a big fan of anything that is considered as an old school, which is why I find relief in using my radio. Over the past few years, I have heard encountered several deejays from the radio stations in New York. If there is one thing that I noticed from these radio announcers or speakers, it is the fact that a lot of them relate a particular song to a love story – may it be a happy or a sad one. At the end of every song, these deejays will usually leave a comment about a love story that was mentioned in the show.

The reason why I am talking about this to you is that I wanted to share something special to everyone for today’s article. Allow me to take a trip down to the memory lane and revisit some of my favorite radio shows in the past. I have to say that I learned a lot from the deejays from various radio stations. Below is a list of the top five love lessons I was not expecting to learn from listening to the radio:

Love Conquers All

Every relationship will have its ups and downs, which is why couples should never freak out whenever they experience uncertainties and fights together. As long as they have love and respect for each other, everything is going to be great. Nothing can bring apart two individuals who are madly in love with each other. As such, if you find the right person, be sure never to let him go. You only get one chance in this life to meet the right man for you.

Love Requires Efforts

No one can expect a particular relationship to work if none of the parties involved are willing to exert efforts in cultivating love. As early as now, it is crucial for you to understand the reality that nothing easy will come your way. You must learn how to work hard for what you want instead of taking someone for granted. Take note that the goal is to have a long-lasting relationship. It can be possible as long as both you and the other person shows continuous efforts to love one another.

Love Is Not Selfish

There are some couples whoa re not meant to be together. Sometimes, people need to accept the reality that not all things are going to last. There are those that may be short-lived yet worthwhile. What you need to know is to assess the seriousness level of your current relationship so that it will be easier on your part to determine whether it is right to take the leap. Otherwise, do not be selfish by letting the other person go. There is no point in holding back since your soon-to-ex wants to have a way out from relationship. You need to understand this clearly.

Love Knows Forgiveness

As already mentioned above, a healthy relationship may come with issues and challenges. What is essential is for you and the other person to continuously make an effort in making things work. It involves having the ability to forgive your loved one whenever he commits something wrong. Forgiveness is one of the best things that you can share with the one person who has caused you pain and frustrations. Do not be afraid to take your time before forgiving your partner to ensure that you have already healed.

Love Is Beautiful

Another crucial thing that you have to remember is the fact that love is beautiful. Having this kind of emotion in your life is going to make you happy. Life is truly worth living if you have someone special to share it with. On the contrary, if you are still single, do not worry because your prince charming will come soon. There will be several challenges along the way, but with the right set of people around, you can be fine. Enjoy every moment that you are in love. Make an effort to seize the day with the love of your life.

As it appears, being in a relationship can be rewarding. I have to thank several radio shows in helping me learn these things.
